My inlaws are in Tuscon for 2 months and they said it was supposed to snow.
Fortunately, they are from Omaha....and we are going to get 10-18" of snow Thursday/Friday with more on Sunday. I think Phoenix still gets the better deal. BTW...the storm name this time is Q. Very creative. Clark |

NOAA report for the weekend looks pretty good. In fact it looks like it will be pretty fast!

I wish I was able to be in this race, because I would likely beat my cars 15.24 best from 5yrs ago, due to morning temps in the 40's to 50's, and daytime highs in the mid 60's pretty much throughout the wknd! Great racing weather, I just hope the track has some good bite for those there....
Unfortunately it will be nearly 10(+) degrees warmer next week, but perhaps Stock will be out first, so who knows I still may have a shot at a new all time best for my car...I'm going for it, b'cos I don't recall weather like this in the 6yrs I've lived here so far....Hail in some places, freezing rain and/or snow in others metro-wide....CRAAAAZY!!!!!

Any updates from Phoenix today?
Looking forward to following the results on Drag Race Central website. We are in the Palm Springs area this weekend enjoying the sunshine.

Don't believe they have started yet.
It's only 8:30 local time. It will take DRC a while to post results. |

Now I really wish I was there with my car (48 degrees and and 69% humidity)...that had to be some awesome air given the REAL altitude of that track is 1100ft...I haven't raced much at any track where the adjusted altitude was less than the true track altitude. I hope it isn't much higher next week?

Well if they are sticking by the schedule stock made a pass when the temperature was in the 30's. Anybody know if they did in fact do this?
