TNTSS kicks off 2012 this Friday at Dunn Tire Raceway Park!

Season opener presented by Autos Direct Of Buffalo

The Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series (TNTSS) will kick off the 2012 season this Friday May 4th - in the same way it has for the past six years - on the 1/8th mile at Dunn Tire Raceway Park in Lancaster, New York.

Presented by Autos Direct Of Buffalo, the season opener is a welcome sight after a long, cold off-season. And for most, it can't happen soon enough. "These guys have been chomping at the bit to get back on the racetrack," said Ted Barnes, TNTSS director. "And with the increased racer payouts along with the new contingency postings, they are going to earn even more!"

Last year's event was won by Macedon, New York's Gary Stowell. Gary will bring his Vega back to TNTSS competition in 2012, along with many TNTSS regulars from across western New York and southern Ontario.

This event is also a qualifier for the Performance Improvements TNTSS Race of Champions coming up in September. "These guys work really hard to get into the ROC," added Ted. "Every race leading up to it is an opportunity to either get in the ROC or improve your qualifying position if you're already in."
