Entering national event question

Ok I'm going to try to enter the Houston national event next month. I have never been to a national before. I printed the online agreement that has to be notorized. I will mail that in. Besides registering online when I can what if anything else do i need to do. I only have one grade point and with a quota of 60 don't know if I'll get in. Also just bought the pit vehicle sticker at the divisional will that work at the national. Thx. Ed
