No......You will find IHRA the same where ever they go. Most of the tech crew for stock and S/S are from N.C. and Va. One from Florida

I've seen the Eagle Motorplex on some of Larry Pfister's Horsepower Heaven videos. Looks like a neat place.

Welcome!

Thank you Michael,
I'm looking forward to the change that IHRA will bring to our area. It does add 5 hours to my commute to go racing but I believe it the will be worth it. Unfortunatly I have a gold card for Mission raceway next year so my trips to Ashcroft will have to play second fiddle until the 2012 season. That will give me time to put the coronet on a diet, fiberglass here I come.LOL
Where can I find the horsepower factors and such. I've looked at there website but couldn't find a link.

Phillip

A '65 Coronet was a all steel car, no lightweight aluminum body parts that are allowed to be replaced with fiberglass. That is unless IHRA is allowing something different.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say LOL

Very true.....the 65 cars are all steel. The 63-64 (Max Wedge) cars are allowed the fiberglass fenders and hoods in replacement for the rare un-obtainium alum. components. It has to be the better quality stuff though. No flimsy "Bracket" car fiberglass.
If its a 63 Max wedge 415 HP car ...it was de-rated to 405 HP about 2 years ago.
