Cope in Indiana? You should probably google that operation and read some of the threads over on the Mopar forums.

Not sure you’re getting Steve’s point…try moparts.com. Top flight and fast stuff is pricey with long lead times, if you can handle that then Rick Allison’s A&A or ProTrans in Waco. Any of the reputable companies can get you close. Personally I’d put a WTB in the classified section first.

Just an FYI, This was posted on July 9, 2021 on another site. Not sure if there are any updates since this post was over 2 years ago.

Pasted from Facebook:

After some long and hard thinking, I and going to stop building transmissions on a national and global scale. I can not to continue to do the job of five guys anymore. The stress is going to kill me. The shop is busier then ever before. But it is totally impossible to find skilled workers to keep up with the demand.
I spent my life growing CRT and now I have to limit the growth of the bizness.
If you have a transmission on order at this time, it will get done. However I am not taking any new orders on complete transmissions and going to limit the in car services at the shop.
I am going to focus on the parts end of the bizness, offer more technical videos, more technical support to the customer.
I have more new products coming soon.

Cope doesn't build transmissions anymore. He just sells A&A parts after he marks them up. The threads on Moparts will tell you exactly why.

Call Keith Long at 727specialists. He's done all my 904 and 727 transmissions for 25 years. 219/7one8-3542 Tell him Dennis Schumers sent you.

We exclusively use Pro Trans in Waco Tx. for all
our race cars.
We have for 25 or 30 years.
Always very busy but worth the wait!

John Cope has built 727's and 904's for my cars for over 20 years with never a failure.
I have his 727 in my NSS car and I run a 904 in my Super Stock Drag Pak. I use his billet transbrake, it's an awesome piece. If you can get John to build you a 904 you won't be disappointed. John doesn't just resell A & A parts, he CNC's valve bodies, transbrakes and other parts in his shop.
