The Midwest Class Racers S/SS race sponsored by Iverson Auto will be at Thunder Valley Dragways Marion SD this weekend (May 15-16) to kick off our 2021 season.

Special thanks to Iverson Auto for there continued support of MCR class racing!

Entree $100

Payout W - $2000 RU - $1000 Semi - $600 - $400 - $200 - $100
Bonus - Winner of both days gets in THE RACE OF CHAMPIONS (5k to win at Rock Falls Wi)

Everything is looking good for Thunder Valley for this weekend . We where out there a week ago and track and crew where working well ( best 60ft we have had for both cars)

Saturday it was Tom Lewis over Sam Reuland. Sunday got rained out.

The Iverson Auto MCR race at TVD is in the books with Tom Lewis winning Sat over Sam Reuland Congrats to both drivers. And welcome to The Race Of Champions Tom!

Sunday Ma Nature beat us all with rain after 1 round of elim ( MCR will divide purse among all left in competition)

Here's an update to the race:

Saturdays's race had 46 cars on the qualifying sheet. Winner was Tom Lewis in his '65 Chevelle 2dr sedan Stocker and runner up was #1 qualifyer Sam Reuland's late model Challenger Hemi stocker.

Tom not only picked up another win but also secured an invitation to the upcoming Race Of Champions at Rock Falls, Wi. Way to go, Tom!

Sunday's race was halted due to rain. With 19 cars left in the field, the entire payout ($6,688.00) was split equally with each remaining racer.
