Condolences to the Lyle Smith Family
Lyle Smith from Milton, Florida passed away today from the corona virus. He had been in the hospital for 2-3 weeks and was on a ventilator at the time of his passing. Lyle and his Dad, Willy T. Smith, raced a string of Fords in super stock, a '64 Thunderbolt and a few Mustangs mostly in Division II.

Very sorry to read that! We raced with him and his Dad in some of the local combined eliminator and IHRA races way back in the day and he was always around in a car of some type in the bracket races later on.
He was always a great guy to meet and talk to. RIP and condolences to the family. |
