Default Mellow Yellow race at Indy

In National Dragster it is listed that there is going to be bracket racers instead of Stock and Super Stock at the Mellow Yellow race at Indy, Wouldn't you think that NHRA would support the sportsman racers that run their series? Could have just had an all run S/SS race rather then bracket racers. I have nothing against bracket racing, I do it myself with a Corvette, but I do expect NHRA to support the their own model of racing.

Which weekend are you referring to ? This weekend the majority of Stk/SS racers are at Columbus, so Indy definitely needs the bracket racers..The weekend of aug 6-9 there is also a LODRS race at Indy which includes Stk/SS .....

Check out the TF and Funny Car qualifiers, only 3 in each class with top 10 numbers.

Many drivers use their permanent numbers

Don’t know but from looking at DRC their quotas are apparently higher.

I believe the bracket race was on the schedule first. It would be an especially bad look to kick them out to make room for the dog and pony show.
