I heard they were not going to change, because nobody could figure out why they should or who suggested it.

Did not really see the rationale behind lowering them in the first place.

I think it would be great if dedicated Superstockers weren't bumped out of their own class by traveling pro's with their stockers because they are bumped out of their own class as a result of NHRA eliminating their own category for that particular event. More so if NHRA cuts to 64 car fields as a maximum for any / all events once the pro side of NHRA takes affect.

Jeff how many traveling pros are there? That is a non issue. 64 car field, that is not going to happen either. If stock and super stock is going to get cut for a time basis, it will in the number of time trials.

The new filler is already in the experimental stages at Divisionals. T/S & T/D. Or if you race at the Pomona events it is called Super Pro & Pro, I believe.
But do not worry, soon you will only be at Sportsnationals. Be thankful that they do not use lie detectors instead of Tech, the fields would then be down to 16, at -.40 under. See, people complain, and NHRA has responded. Ron Ortiz U/SA
