2017 Contingency Sponsor Posting

Hi all,

I just went looking for the Mello & Lucas postings for 2017 and the only sheets available stated 2016......

The 2 Mello sheets for the Winters both say 2016....

The Lucas series only has a listing for 2016......

I have to spend some money and if the pricing and usage is correct I will spend my money buying from the sponsors.....

It makes it difficult to know because NHRA has not updated the information for 2017....

Does anybody have any info?????

Yes I did and the information it provided was useless.....

I don't think that if I put a Vance & Hines exhaust or an Edelbrock Intake & Heads on a Pontiac Stock Eliminator car I would get paid.......

Thanks for posting. It looks like a lot of companies are no longer participating in the program. I guess there'll be fewer decals on the car.

Dont worry .. every year lots of manufacturers step up as close to a week before Winternationals finalizing their deals .. lots of time to see the list possibly grow

^what he said... I just wish they could put out a list before Christmas. I have to put off all go fast goodies and new safety equipment until I see who's paying.

I stopped buying products because they pay contingency money - the "best of breed" products get purchased because they are proven good products.

It is a game to run the decal and not the product - you all know that.

The rich guys (from winning so much) by the product to get the proof of purchase and leave it in the box for later resale.

Been this way forever - I did buy a "dual drag-pak" Conolec fuel pump set and replaced my SW single pump - lost a race because 2 was not better than one but they would have paid twice as much - if only I had not lost.

Comes under the heading of racing wisdom - not decal knowledge. Maybe we don't change a bunch of working stuff every winter like some of you - so we do not redecorate the exterior of our car.

Why doesn't someone start a sticky on who does pay for Stock ,and Super Stock.
