I happened upon one of these yesterday for >$1M. Is (or has) anybody run a 4.6L in stock? What are you thoughts on this combo?

I would think this would be a good combination. The engine is only rated at 210 and has adequate head flow, TB flow, camshaft and compression to produce the power to be competitive at that rating. However, I also think that sorting it out will be time consuming and expensive.

I've seen at least 2 of the 96-98 Mustangs in Stock with the 2V combo. Run about 3-4 tenths under, if I recall correctly.
Never seen a "new edge" with the PI heads tho ( '99-'04) All the '96 and newer Ford production model combos (non CJ ) are factored too high by NHRA. Probably why very few people build them. Just my opinion...
