They did mention that the other classes were run later in the day, but why would that matter?? With the Sportsman show being delayed they should have included all classes. Pretty much a crap show.

This show was no different than when ESPN showed them.

Reminds me of the lyrics to an old "Who" song! "Meet the new boss same as the old boss"

Run later in the day means the TV crew isn't sticking around any longer than it has to .
It was the same with ESPN ,when the pros are done ,so are the TV crews.

Something I noticed was that the TAD and TAFC classes ran a full schedule of 16 cars with (mostly) full runs. The cars were driven by fresh faces with lots of enthusiasm, hit good numbers and (mostly) kept the parts in the motor. With TF running a short field and blowing motors at 1000 feet, maybe whack nitro and combine the two tiers into Pro Dragster and Pro Funny Car? Keep the injected nitro - blown methanol mix for dragsters and drop Force, Capps and company off the juice and down with alky hot shots like Jonnie Lindburg?

These cars are just as impressive from a fan standpoint as the nitro cars and the racing is better. Might be fun to see. Nitro has become a drug for NHRA brass and they seem to think fans won't show up without it.

As for the Sportsman class coverage, the show was fast paced at one hour and it would have been hard to fit it in. An hour and a half could do it or a separate hour for true Sportsman racing. I mean, they do Monster trucks and snowmobiles, right?

WOW, they showed the TAFC final in Vegas!! But instead of showing anyone else they had to show Antron Brown's empty pit. OMG!!! Antron has left his pit and went to the staging lanes!!!!

Wait for it.....

Won't be long before the NHRA apologists step in with their remarks about how great the all access program is, completely missing the point that sportsman exposure on FS1 could be used as a tool to help draw in new blood.

They should show all the finals. If they can show poker and curling, this is 100 times better.
