Lost another Racer: Ron Thorson
Sad to post the passing of another racer. Ron Thorson of the Mother Skunk Racing Team passed away this week. He was a legend around these parts as one of the first real racers with class cars . His obit can be seen at blackhillsfuneralhome.com

I think he still owned both the W30 and the W31. I visited with him at the old Belle Fourche drag strip years back and he did then.

I think he sold one of them to Terry Pearson a couple of years before Terry passed. they where good friends, RIP

Terry Pearson ran a 1970 W30 with Ron in the early 70's. Then he moved to Alabama and he sold Ron the 70.
