my friend and partner needs your prayers hubert platt is in hospice care in atlanta. he is in a lot of pain. a true legend in the drag racing world.always a joy to be around. the court jestors of racing i love you hubert randy payne

My dad spent his last days in the care of Hospice. They are phenomenal. They will take great care of Hubert. He will know no pain. They also treat the family with such dignity. Best wishes for Hubert, family and friends.

Very sad news; Hubert was one of my favorite drivers back in the 60s and 70s.

A legend in Ford drag cars. One I've always admired and glad I've met. I had the great pleasure of seeing him dump the clutch at valve float on a 427 Galaxie at the California Hot Rod Reunion a decade ago. I'll always remember that.

It pains me Payne says he's in pain. Slip him some 'shine, Randy.
