Jason DeForrest doubles up at Thunder Valley!!

Jason DeForrest proved to be hotter than both the weather and the Fourth of July fireworks as he scored an impressive double up last weekend at Thunder Valley, winning both the Saturday and Sunday race. Runner up on Saturday was Michael Koppien and the Koppien Family SS/EA '69 Camaro. Sunday's runner up was Rick Wessel's E/S '69 Camaro Z28.

For his efforts, Mr. DeForrest collected a tidy $4,000

from Midwest Class Racers, an additional $100 from long time MCR friend Marv Lovro and two $100 gift certificates from CJ Motorsports in Mitchell, S.D.

We had 56 Stock and Super Stock cars on Saturday and 50 on Sunday. Some rain Sunday morning put the track crew to the test and they rose to the occasion.
