IHRA releases the Div 2 Schedule first because of the races in January/February. The rest of the schedule usually comes out the first week of Dec, in years past.

The International Hot Rod Association announced today the official schedule for the Division 4 Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL that will include four stops at tracks in Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee. Those stops include Dallas Raceway, State Capitol Raceway, San Antonio Raceway and Memphis International Raceway.
All events will feature a double race weekend with full races on Saturday and Sunday. Racers that finish within the top three in their divisional points will earn an automatic bid to the 2014 Summit Racing Equipment Tournament of Champions at Memphis International Raceway in October.
“The 2013 season was an awesome year for Division 4. We have a strong group of racers in the division and it shows from the number of world champions and top 10 finishers at the World Finals last year,” said Frank Kohutek, IHRA Division 4 Director. “I am really looking forward to 2014 to see who steps up and brings their ‘A’ game. We have a great schedule and another exciting year ahead."
Kicking off the Division 4 Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL season is Dallas Raceway the weekend of March 14-16. The universally acclaimed track known throughout the drag racing community as the ‘concrete palace” will once again open its doors for two days of sportsman drag racing in the always tough Renegades Division.
State Capitol Raceway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana will host the second stop on the Division 4 schedule the weekend of April 4-6. Located in the heart of Cajun Country, many of the IHRA’s top competitors call Louisiana home and will be looking for another great race weekend in their backyard.
The always popular San Antonio Raceway will host the third stop on the Renegades season tour the weekend of May 30-June 1 in a standalone Summit Pro-Am event. Separate from the Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series stop at SAR in April, the late May Pro-Am will give racers their own weekend of racing separate from the showdown earlier in the year.
Wrapping up the Division 4 schedule will be Memphis International Raceway the weekend of June 13-15. A precursor to the Summit World Finals held at the same facility in October, the Wild Card weekend at Memphis International Raceway brings out the best racers in all divisions as racers can claim valuable Pro-Am points regardless of home division while getting a hit at the track where they will compete for championships later in the year.
The full Division 4 Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL season schedule can be found below. For more information on the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour please visit www.ihra.com.

Thanks! Let's hope that Dallas doesn't get messed up this year and have to run in the Texas summer heat.

I hope at least one more race up north can be added for Div 3. Surely there is a track in Ohio that could do it. Maybe two tracks could pool their resources and host one if they don't think its viable to do it themselves. One track could do day one, the other day two. That way, they could have less total cost involved, and more staff to help run the event so they don't have everyone working such long days.
I am from WV, but I don't imagine Kanawha Valley will host one.

KV has had IHRA divisional races in the past I believe. Plenty of pit space to have one but the top end of the track is getting pretty rough.

Agreed, either need a 4th double-header, or at least make Pittsburgh a Div. 1/3 Wildcard like it was the previous year. Having only three options and being forced to make two of those or get a zero for the whole season is very difficult.

When we first built the Super Stock motor, we didn't get the car done until June. I went to like 10 Pro-Ams and 2 Sportsman Spectaculars, but still got a zero for the season because it wasn't possible to get 4 of those 10 Pro-Ams all in the same Division.

I like to see something added back, like Mt.Park, K-Valley, The way it sounds from some of the track operators I have talked to it is hard for them to come out,I might be misinformed but the way it looks from what I have seen the track operator is the one sticking his neck out on Pro Am, IHRA gets their money no matter how many cars show, and was told they need 100 cars to break even.
This info may not be completely accurate,so if not maybe someone can tell us the right info.
