Found an ad on ebay for a 1977 V/SA white Pontiac Ventura ex- national record holder. Does anyone know who's it is?

The car was owned and built by Don Sarrett of Glendale Arizona...Runner-up at the 1999 NHRA Winternationals in Stock eliminator....Set the V/SA National record many times and ran a best of 14.48 at 92 mph.....With today`s rules the car could easily run in the 14.10 to 14.20 range without spending much money on it.....I and Mark Yacavone from Blue Streak Converters spent many hours working on this car back then......

That's about as cheap as you'll ever find for a RWD Stocker that can set the record with little effort! Don, Neil and Mark Yac were passionate about getting this car to run so well. It's a shame it's been sitting idle so long but at least theirs opportunity waiting for some lucky racer.

What kind of 2v Carb did that use?
Is that a TH200 a Hi ticket /Hi maintenance item? The current RH for that class is a 80 Dodge something. Could be Prol A nice bracket car to boot... And wont piss off the neighborhood (all) that much. (?) That would be a sight, .. a 9.0 + Stocker siting at the tree waiting to chase this 14.3 box down.
