Default Did anyone see this? NHRA's Sportsman experience enhancement

http://www.competitionplus.com/drag-...ove-experience

Sorry if a repost, but I didn't see it anywhere.

Sounds promising. But the earth shaker for me was that Light admitted NHRA was "wrong" about something! Hopefully the world is NOT coming to an end...LOL! Maybe just hell is freezing over...

No mention of the asinine answer given to David Barton by the "official" starter why traction sucked for the sportsman racers.

Hah! No Ed I didn't either and I'll bet that particular incident won't be mentioned from Glendora.

Well, except "Pay the fine."

But I'm cautiously optimistic... maybe they're listening. Sportsman racing on all levels IS THE BACKBONE of all of drag racing and I'm hopeful this is not a fluke.

Are you saying, a cold snap with some more "smoke & mirrors" for the Sportsman racer?

The real motive may be to insure ESPN can have a better chance of a live final of fuel cars on schedule. Running the sportsman finals early gives them time to get the track ready for the real show in case someone makes a mess.
I don't race a fuel car so I don't expect a grandstand full of cheering fans anyway, but I think Light put a decent spin on it however.
