Default 385" SBC, PUMP GAS engine, Street/strip 11.15@117

For Sale:

Street/strip Pump gas

4.040" 4 bolt 010 casting block 3.75? Stroke crank= 385ci

The block was prepped by Windsor Automotive Machine (Paul Rock)
- The block prep included being decked to 9.03"
- Line honed mains, Bores honed with a deck plate

-SRP Forged Pistons #138094 with Plasma Moly file fit rings
-9.85:1 CR Completely pump gas capable
-Clevite 77 bearings
-Fel-Pro Gaskets
-Eagle Cask Crank 3.75" Stroke External balanced by Performance machine
-Crower Sportsman 6? cap screw Rods
- All bolts internal and external are ARP, with exception to the rod bolts which are Crower.
-Milodon louvered Windage tray, and Milodon oil pan (Stock style)
-Melling Standard oil pump, Heavy casting design with pickup epoxied and staked.
-Cloyes true Roller timing set
-World Products Sportsman II 200cc intake port heads 72cc combustion chambers fitted with Race Flo 2.02/1.60 valves bowl blend
All the valves (brand new) were resurfaced, and back cut.
Head work included a bowl blend and 3-angle (3 seat angles and a back cut) competition style valve job
-Performer RPM intake manifold
-Crower Cams #00321 (Ground on a 108LSA) Solid Flat tappet 242/248 Dur .050? .482/.504" valve lift Crane double Valve Springs #99893-16
-Rocker Arms- Crower Stainless Steel 1.5
-Comp One Piece .080? wall 5/16? Pushrods
-Headers- 1-5/8? primary 3? collector, 33? average primary tube length
Scavenger style collector
-Steel damper

This engine has 96 1/4 mile passes on it, and less then 3000 street miles.

It has gone 11.15 at 117.5 MPH in a 3210lbs 67' Camaro.


Comes complete, less distributor, waterpump, alternator and carb. (carb is negotiable).

I can speak first hand for this piece....it's EXCELLENT!. A great engine for any hotrod to cruise around with and deadly at the track. I drove it a couple of times, it's the real deal.

You cannot bulid it for less than 6000.00.

thanks Ad!

I want to add, that the stainless exhaust system, dynomax ultraflow mufflers and Meziere water pump (55gpm!) are being added to the deal.

If interested, act quick, i'm giving it two weeks then stashing it in my garage and not enteraining any offers short of $5000.

Smink i'm using the carb/dist on the next engine. $3900, without the carb or dist.
