I was watching the HP show on building the new COPO Camaro's and when they put the new Strange rear end they said it was a Ford 9 inch. Is this correct? What happened to the corporate matching parts?

These are OEM approved parts that were submitted by the OEM to NHRA and NHRA accepted them. Therefore they are real. It's really that simple.

The 2014 CJ's are using a T400 with a new Reid case that will be legal as submitted.

![]() As stated above it was approved and yes, the young man did refer to it as a FORD 9" when they were doing the install. I picked up on that too. Pretty neat show though. |

I wasn't upset just asking a question. I thought it was strange that Chevy would use a competitor's rear end. Especially since it's not "legal" for our class.

That's not a Ford. It is a Moparius Maximus solid rear axle. It has been around since the frist road in Rome. It is also legal in a 2 or 4 horse chariot.
