Lyn how wide is it? Mike i know we used one out of a 77 monte carlo in the old bracket bomb dad had....it was a little wide but it worked with the right back-spacing. Hey Mikey stick a rule on your so we know.

If memory serves me correctly... a Buick GN 8.5 bolts in & is the right width.

Adger's quite right, Buick GN is the same width.
"Basically" its the only G-body wih the 8.5 10 bolt from the factory. Supposedly some Oldsmobile version G-body diesel??/350 Olds motored wagons with that same rear. All this makes this a VERY desirable rear, as everyone who builds these for whatever wants one. Most GNs came with 3:42 gears, which makes GN rears great for every G-body street car. 68 and up 12 bolts are a lot wider 64-67 A-body 12 bolts are a little wider, easier to pl;ay with backspace, again a high$$ rear. plus you now have to deal with the trailing arm angles, which are different. Either modify the orig. stuff or buy the conversion stuff thats out there. If this is for a race car yor better off biting the bullet and buying the Moser housing right the bat. Thanks to all who replied. I am going to Mooresville this weekend and talk to Danny Jr. about a Moser set-up. I am leaning towards that set-up, but still leaving other options open. Mike
