Info needed on old Super Stock Mustang

This car belongs to a local friend of mine. He is looking for any info, photo, or leads to it's history from the early 70's. It was raced in the Gadsden Alabama area (I have already talked to Stephen Johnson about it but no leads) and Holiday Beach Raceway, also other local strips. Anything would be appreciated. It is a 70 base Mustang 428 4 speed car. This is the only photo from that era that he has.

Contact Ed Chandler in Anniston AL, he raced it that area for 40 years, he may know.

Tell him Jim Rountree told you to contact him.

I seen some current pics of the car, but no old ones...would this be your friend.

There is a 2006 question about the Mustang on the Georgia Drag Racing news website. Is that you or have you seen it?

Randy Payne might know. He was racing Fords in that general area back then.

I remember the Black Magic CJ Mustang at Atlanta Speed Shop Drag Strip in Covington, GA several times in the early 70's when I raced there.
