Default Will hurrican Isaac affect Indy

In watching the weather reports it seems like the forecast for Indy has gone from perfect to 30% chance of rain for Friday , Saturday and Sunday.

Could very have a big impact on Indy!
Depends where it makes land fall in Fla
If we have either a high or low pressure in upper midwest and how these highs and lows push the jet stream

Bo, I studied meteorology in college; it is far too early to predict if Isaac will impact Indy.
As of now, Wednesday and Thursday are still perfect, Friday has only a 20% of thunderstorms, Saturday and Sunday have only a 30% chance, and Monday is perfect. Look at it in a positive way, on Friday there is an 80% chance that it won't rain, and on Saturday and Sunday there is a 70% chance that it won't rain. The forecasters should have a better grasp of the possible impacts by Tuesday or Wednesday.
No matter what, I will see you bright and early on Wednesday morning!

Sure might effect the Candies group. Would not leave my family at home alone with a hurricane bearing down on them! Hoping for the best and hoping to be in Indy. We'll see.

We are prepping for the tropical storm force winds and heavy rain here in the Tampa bay area. Looks like we dodged a bullet again on the direct hit. That's a good thing with all of the out of town guests here for the Republican convention. Good luck to everyone in the path of the storm.

It has affected the Teuton group. I am no longer going to be able to attend. It's to risky with Isac coming up our butts and a 8 month old.

Good luck to all racers!

Well since the kids' schools have been closed, we are on the way to Indy! I know that they are certainly happy to be out of school for a week and they just got started. What better place to evacuate for a hurricane than a race?!
Praying that our homes will be spared, but most importantly the family will be together. See everyone up there!

Joey, sorry you're not gonna make it brother. We'll do our best to represent the cajun clan.
