I-75 Southbound to Bristol

Just a reminder for anyone heading to Bristol on I-75, it is still only one lane southbound just south of the Kentucky/Tennessee state line at about the 155 mile marker. There have been sporadic closures of the southbound side. With long backups you may want to look at an alternate route.

Southbound on I-81 at mile marker 121-122 in Virginia can be a problem also. They are blasting for a truck lane at this point many weekday mornings around 10am to noon and close the interstate. they detour the traffic at exit 132 over to Route 11/460. i have seen traffic backed up six miles on some days past exit 137 where I get off. I don't believe that there would be another route to take so you may want to plan on being in this area at times that do not coincide with the blasting

I-75 was ok today !
Single lane for about 5 miles at MM 144 breezed right through !
