Hey, don't pick on me, I just wrote the software and have no control over what comes out of the reporter's fingertips (although I did include a spell-checker). I am sitting at home, watching the roundy-rounders on TV, listening to the St. Louis race on the Internet and following two LODRS, one Summit Pro-Am and an underpopulated Sport Compact race on DRC.

Well Div6 I see you got just enough intelligence to take a crap on an otherwise fun moment. What a guy. Thanks for sharing.
Larry - Abosolutely NOT picking on you. Never ever. Just consider me the friendly pointer out-er. I suppose a few of us enjoy the **-paws. I miss step. |

Actually, this one was my fault, I think. The first-round pairings come from the car numbers as entered in the timing system by the computer operator and it appears that a bad car number was entered for Etter's opponent in round one. The Etter and Smith pair appears to have been correctly entered before they went down the track since Smith got the win flag.
Usually when the computer operator keys in the wrong car number, they make a correction before the cars run and the error never shows up in the report. This situation should have triggered an error message because "J Mason" (car # 7743) wasn't even on the qualifying list. It didn't, and I don't know why. When I first read your comment, I though it meant that the reporter's comments indentified a different winner than the performance numbers and win flag showed. Then I looked and realized that it was a ladder-formatted round, my bad! As I said, it should have triggered an error, so maybe you have found the only bug in my otherwise perfect software? (Yeah, sure!) Like I've said before, don't be shy about letting us know about any errors you spot - just don't turn it into an inquisition. I'll be looking at this one to see if I can figger how it happened. - Larry |

Best intentions from me Larry. I know how much work is involved trying to handle so much data in a few hours. It's unbelievable as far as I'm concerned. Appreciate your work. It's just sheets a giggles sometimes. Like Tony D being listed twice. I KNEW they cloned those kids......
I miss step. |

You mean U/SA didn't beat a A/SA? I checked at DRC and saw the answer. And I thought my T/SA Olds Starfire I am in the process of building might actually have a chance one day, [:-unhappy-:]

Gee...Bruce...don't get your little Pink Panties all wrapped-up...I was just joking...watching a slow car run a faster car always gets people excited...when they are still in the grandstands...

It was a great weekend for slow cars! Harry Morgan in his HF/SA Escort trailered Bertozzi en route to a runner-up on Saturday at Douglas, GA, and Tom Gould took out some tough customers and laid down some great runs in his W/S Corvair to take runner-up on Sunday!
