Default Anybody around Garner NC see Roy Hills hauler??

One of my delivery drivers came in this morning and said Roy Hill"s hauler was sitting in the middle of I-40 east. From the traffic camera looks like he was headed east ( scheduled to be @ Costal Plains tomorrow) and went across the median throught the wire baracade and into the west bound lane before coming to rest in the median. Hope all involved are ok.

Just spoke to Roy. A lady coming onto the Interstate just kept coming into Roy's lane and he hit her with his front wheel that jack knived his rig into the median. He has damage to both truck & trailer but all can be repaired and best news is that all parties involved are ok.

I just left the scene of that accident and by the looks of things the local laundry did a big business, no pun intended, when this all played out. The race rig went off the left shoulder of the road into the median. Then hit the steel safety cables in the center of the median and the rig was turned a complete 180 degrees in the middle of the median. The driver did an good job to keep that rig out of the on coming traffic. Only the local laundry will know what the folks in the on coming lanes thought when they saw the big transporter turning around in the middle of the road and coming at them. I am sure the cars were in the trailer since he is scheduled to run a match race with Ricky Smith tomorrow at Coastal Plains as part of the "Cook-Out-Shoot-Out" and IHRA Summit Series this week-end.
