Are 2-step rev limiters considered "electronics" if they are activated by a pedal switch and not a release button?? All the track we run say no eletronics in footbrake, i just wondered if that meant trans brakes and throttle stops only, or any electronic device. Thanks as always.

Check with your Division Director. Here In NHRA Division 1, Summit Series "Footbrakers" are only allowed 1 rev limter on the high side.

If the class is true Footbrake....no. If it is PRO ET, yes.
