As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the LODRS event 1-6, the following change has been made.

The horsepower rating for 2010 Ford Cobra Jet, entries with the 330 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 500 currently rated at 552, has been increased by twenty-four horsepower, to 476 horsepower; for Supper Stock Eliminator.

NHRA's 2011 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-second or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase. These changes are effective Sep. 19, 2011.

"Supper" Stock? LOL... Increased 24 to 476 from 552?

I beleive those guys at NHRA sure know how to party!

Looks like they forgot how to add too. 552 + 24 does not equal 476. Can't believe you guys didn't catch that. lol

At least Wesley knew how to spell and add. Maybe he should give them a refresher course on how to edit information before it is printed for the racing public to read.

Whether they like it or not, they will have to either make a power adder class for combos such as the fords and future or old combos, or they will have to make another class for Ford only like the hemi's. According to the article drag race central did on Roy, he stated he was going to be 200lbs heavy for SS/AA and that they hadn't put the new engines from roush in the car yet if I read that article right.
