Jack,
Consider using E-Town as a starting point. Mapquest says 5 3/4 hours to Epping. Depending which road you take to Columbus it's 8 3/4 to 9 1/2 hours. Givin that a majority of the Mid Atlantic racers are 2 hours or less from E-Town that makes the trip anywhere from 3 3/4 hours for some to 7 3/4 hours for others. It's still shorter to Epping. And you get the beautiful New England scenery, beaches and Lobstah. Sam P.S. There is even a rumor that the Brew Crew is going to make an appearance.

Been there 3 times from Md.when it was IHRA. Its NOT a fun ride. Going to Columbus sounds like a better option to me and less driving time.

I went to Epping once.....just for the weekend with my girlfriend. We hung out and watched a WCS event....yea it was a long time ago.....Beautifull area and track. Went for seafood in Portsmouth....Stayed in Exeter.....I think they pulled the sidewalks in at about 7 pm....I felt like we were camping.....Nothing but trees.......Maybe it's different today.....probably is....
We took 95 all the way home....Not a good ride.... I made at least 6-7 trips to Boston area and once to Salem......The inland routes mentioned on the other thread are way better from NJ.... I'd go to Epping anyday before Columbus....
