We had serious engine problems with the evil green car, but Tim Cole at Comp Cams, and Peanut Watson at Kirt's Machine Shop really stepped up and helped us get the car back together for this weekend's race at Bowling Green.
Tim Cole got us a cam ground over night, as well as a new set of lifters, and a new cam gear. Peanut Watson put in a complete set of lifter bushings, touched up the align hone, did a minor re-balance, and polished the crank. All of this was done between Wednesday morning at 9 AM and Friday afternoon. It allowed us to assemble the engine, get it in the car, and fire it by Sunday afternoon. All too often, we forget to say thank you to those who really go the extra mile for us. Thank you, Tim and Peanut, you guys did a great job in a real short period of time for us. We appreciate it greatly.
