I just got my comp eng front subframe bushings (solids) It came with 6 bushings. 2 for the rad and 4 for the back. Do I need to order 1 more set to have upper and lowers on the sub frame??

i just used a thick washer and a shorter bolt, looks to be the common practice on most of the cars i see.

do you place the washer on the underside of the subframe (in between subframe and bolt head) and bushing in the middle and nothing up top?

I believe the bushing is sandwiched between the sub-frame and body - big washer on the bottom.

I've installed those bushings on 2 different Camaros over the years. First one I did on the cheap, IIRC I used some steel plate to back up the factory washers, last one I built thick washers out of aluminum bar stock on the lathe. IMHO these kits should come with the correct bottom "washers" as well as the bushings. They aren't a complete kit in my view.
