Great old pictures.I got out of high school in '72, just young enough to miss vietnam, went to watch the drags at the original Irwindale Raceway, and saw many similar west coast versions of similar cars. Really liked picture # 55- a '61 Bel Air bubbletop. That's probably the rarest Chevy body in the collection .Sure was nice seeing all those old combinations, even Super Stock and Modified Production cars with license plates.

Great old Ct. Dragway pics.....Both Gene O'Neill's "Flintstone Charger" hemi cars, the A990 '65 Coronet, and the '68 Hemi Dart show up in this album. Also, a cool pic of the Bill Flynn "Yankee Pedlar" Hemi Dart. I spent alot of Sundays down there in East Haddam/Colchester, Ct. back in those days....thanks for the memories..... WJ

Dave......Me and my partner with our H/S Chevy II, raced Dave Lebrun in that Corvette at Island one night at a Stocker event......My partner redlighted and we both ran .05 under the record on the run...I remember it well.....Lebrun went something like 11.40 and we ran 12.20......
Game 6 on deck from Texas.......really hoping we get to game 7......pretty intense baseball right now my friend and thats how I like it!!!
