Competition Photos Super Comp Race #5 & 6 @ Atco this weekend!

After a 4 week lay-off the Competition Photos Super Comp Association will gear-up for race number five and six this weekend at Atco Raceway. Recent winner Kathy Smulligan takes a 1 round points lead into Atco over 2nd place Marty Jones. Sitting in a tie for 3rd place is teammates Ash Senft and Ed Meyer with Frank Lauria right behind in 5th place. Rounding out the Top Ten is Jeff Livezy Jr., Joey Cambria, Tom Boyle, Walter Olt and Jeff Kundratic. Just a remember we only count 5 out of your best 8 races towards the championship, so there is still time to join and collect those valuable points towards the championship. Information for the weekend is as follows, gates will open at 8:30am both Saturday and Sunday. Entry into the track is $ 35.00 plus any crew paid at the gate. Competition Photos Super Comp fee is $ 65.00 and that is paid to Tom Boyle at his trailer. Payout is guaranteed $ 1,000.00 based on 32 Cars (The More Cars the better the payout!!). Saturdays sponsor will be Bruce Combs Drywall Co. out of New Windsor, MD and Sunday’s will be Mike’s Service Center from Philadelphia, Pa. Joe would like us park on the main side parking lot this weekend and not on the cold side like we did back in June. There will be no bracket program this weekend as Atco will host the $10,000 and $5,000 Footbrake race this weekend along with the East Coast Stock/Super Stock Association. that is funny, the same amount of cars that left after the saturday, showed up on sunday ... Had a great time and look forward to doing it again sometime.

Chris,

Glad you had a good time and congrats on the R/Up. Sorry I missed you on Saturday but, that thing called work got in the way...lol. Tom and I were both scared for the car count on Saturday because we knew we lost 6 or 7 cars due to prior engagements but, 7 new guys rolled in the door on Sunday and the racing was top notch. Hope to see you at a few more races next year and as they say "We are only getting our feet wet, we can only get better!"

See you at Cecil in a few weeks..
