Default Front end travel?

My front end rises 5 1/2" before the tires are off the ground. Is this too much? If so, how can I limit the travel?

That's way too much for pro tree IMHO. What kind of front suspension are you running? Mine is tubular A-Arms, and I have a set of limiting cables that include long eye bolts for adjustment.

Stock A arms, dropped spindles, QA-1 shocks.
How do you mount the straps?
