Default bracket racing a dragster

First, HI! To everyone this is my 1st post
After an absence of more than a few years, I'm looking to get back into doing some local bracket racing. I have a question about bracket racing a dragster(I ran door cars and an alterd before). In the 8.0-8.60 et and 155-175 mph 600 HP range, is there any advantage or disadvantage to running a long 240"-260" either hardtail or suspended car? I am aware of the advantages to running a suspended car and other than the obvious trailer size and a longer car being a bit of a pain. Can relatively low HP (small block or big block) car be run consistently with a longer wheelbase car?
All opinions and comments are welcome

Personaly never ran a dragster but the one thing I can think maybe an issue is with the longer car are you going to get a good starting line at the hit. I am thinking that your tires are alittle farther back than most bracket dragsters (215 -225 inches) and way back from the door cars. I don't know maybe this is an advantage.

Novassdude Thanks for the response.
There seems to be as many opinions on the starting tire location then Obama has bail out Plans!!

The most common appears to be that the 215" cars are a little short ( by today's standers)and kind of stuck in no-mans land being longer than a doorslamer but shorter than the current thinking in dragster which i think is 225-240.

That's why as hoping for some of the dragster guys or gals to chime in.
