Are the pics on your computer or on another site somewhere? If they're on your computer you go wher you post and look down and see manage attachments, click on that then a window will pop up and you click browse and search where they are on your computer.

Post Re: Link

If the photos are on another web site, do the following:

1) Right click on the web address, it will get highlighted. Then click "copy" in the box that shows up.

2) When you go back to replying in a thread here, right click where you want to put the link you copied and hit "paste". When it appears, sandwich the address/link with [ url ] and [ /url ] (No spaces in between anything, including the address/link.. The spaces I put are the only way I can make it show up!)

The address/link will end up like this: http://classracer.com/classforum/index.php

Hope that helps.

Jeff if you are successful I would like to see the pictures as well. You really don't think someone would poke fun at you, do you? Southland was a fun place to race with the bite as good as anyplace. Kind of reminds me of No Problem...

This is a pretty good link to some old Southland raceway pictures. Brings back some good memories. http://www.hotrodder.com/cgi-bin/dra...num=1199391570

That's the one. Notice the Candies and Hughes shop with the snake and another car. That is down the street from us. The red & white Dart ss/aa is one of ours we had, one of several originals. Too bad it went away. it was ahead of it's time in design. Dave McCllelend was the track manager. The Chevelle Convertable was for the track owner Ralph Baker. Extremely rare car.

Great photos!

I see Ed Wright running I think Parum and Payne.

The funny cars were so much better looking then.
