Stock/Super Stock points going into the final combo race. Nick Morris is number 1 with his super clean SS/GT Mustang, Wickie Knight(70 Hemi Cuda) and Chad Mahlosky(g/sa Chevy 2) are tied for second some 70 points back of first. Going to be a good day for racing, see you there. J.Gower M/S 3058

How about some qualifying sheets and maybe some photos of who's there. Always looking for photos of Chevy II's.

There were at least 54 cars at the combo. It was beautiful today, "chamber of commerce" weather for a drag race. The DA was about 250 feet for the second round. We went out in the second round, and had to leave, so I can't say who won.

We had some good air at Bowling Green along with some really fast cars. Nick Morris was #1 qualifier in his beautiful SS/GTKA Mustang at !.48 seconds under and Doug Duell in his new Challenger was also 1.48 under, just a tick behind Nick. Donna Morris was the winner and Bob Akers was runner-up. We had 55 cars and the quality of the field was outstanding. The track was really good up until about 8:00 P.M. when the cold weather and moisture made it a little tricky. A great day to race with a high temperature of about 65 and blue skies. Thanks a lot to Dallas and Clay Jones for having these races this year.

Can anyone tell me if Danny Coffman was there with his SS/H Chevy II? I know he has been there before at the combos. If so what did he qualify with. Thanks. Ed

ED, Danny was there, and the car sounded great, but I do not know what he ran.
