Just read in our local paper, that Budweiser is pulling out, as in no more N.H.R.A, and no more Ken Bernstein, after this year (2009) . The paper is the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal....How's that for a Happy St. Patricks Day!!!!!!! Later...............John

Looks like no more BUD or MICHELOB for me........owned by a Belgian company.
And Miller is owned by a South African company.... What's left that is AMERICAN owned ??? Maybe a good Brew Pub beer ??? |

Personally, I'm a Yuengling drinker...best damn American 6 pak this side of $6.00. Better than all those green bottles of skunk piss too. Besides, I can always get Bud Light I at the races as long as Dave Lindsay is there

Yuengling black and tan is killer! Is Pabst Blue Ribbon still American? Great brew at a good price! PBR taste better than Michelob too! Maybe a Pabst pro stock shoot out could be in the future lol?

I have been to several of the major brewers. (Even though I have never in my life had a drink). I was at A-B in 1983 when Kenny had his Top Fuel car there on display. The manufacturing plant is awesome.
I have also been to Molson and LaBatts. The Canadians call American beers skank, not because of the manufacturing, but because how long they allow the shelf life. All great companies, too bad I only drink Starbucks. It is on tap at my motorhome if anyone wants to come by for a strong one. ![]() Here is a write up: http://www.stltoday.com/blogzone/lag...hot-rod-deals/
