www.tomsdifferentials.com

Easy self install....used only on the driver side usually.

Comes with upgraded fasteners for the passenger cap, driver side must be drilled and tapped for 1/2" fastener, provided.

Why doesn't that one require milling like everybody else's?

Dunno..

It requires "fitting", but nothing more than what can be done with a file.

I've had mine for 12 years.

I was just thinking about this again, and I wondered why I've never seen any bearing cap studs?

i found if you tap the existing threaded holes deeper with the 2nd of a three tap set (not the starter taper tap and not the bottoming tap) so that the tap end goes flush with the back side of the opening you can still bottom out a set of studs with over an inch of thread holding. even through the studs bottom out i still used blue locktite.
