2011 stocker season

Well, it seems as though NHRA is going to continue to shove these pseudo stockers down your throat. What are you going to do about ? If ever there was a time for the drivers to organize and protest it is NOW. Are you going to wait until they legislate your car uncompetitive. Some of you are going to say --' it does not concern my class " Oh but it does because it concerns stock eliminator---ALL OF IT. This is an attack on the rules of the stock class eliminator. You know, the rules you hold so precious. If you think this is going to go away , just remember what happened to the MP & GAS classes. I strongly suggest to organize a huge protest and hopefully there would be support from the the other sportsman classes. Let it start at Pomona ! NO CLASS RACING ! Either be a no show or show up but no fire up ! TIME TO STOP TALKING THE TALK AND DO THE WALK !!!!!!!!

And you are elected to lead the stocker protest by having your car at the head of the staging lanes at Pomona.

It won't matter a bit if you guys sit out the whole season. Those guys will battle it out for class among themselves. They'll all be AA or A at the end .
Then , Chrysler and Ford will just change the specs a bit ,NHRA will buy them, and they'll be right back in D , E and F again.
I wish I had a good answer for you guys, but I don't see it at this time.

If this all stays as is and what Mark said IS true let them race themselves. My money is good in other places and I am surely not going to piss it away with nhra. I said it in another post, IHRA looks better. I know west coast dont have a choice but from mid west to the east you do.

Maybe its time for a new venue to race in ?

Not having a car or real vested interest in the sport, I suppose it would be fun to sit back and watch all the blood letting. I'd be more interested in not allowing no-names and non vested parties of class racing onto this board.
But we all saw what happened on the S/SS Forum when that happened.
