Lakeland FL, SSSSA race

We got such a warm welcome from all the stock/super stock racers at their event in Lakeland FL, lots of people coming by and asking questions, taking pictures, and asking when we were going to run it, unfortunately we broke a brand new flexplate during the warm-up, and could not run, met with Jim Wahl (first class guy by the way) and we were invited back for a future event, everyone was so nice and accommodating, we can't wait to come back

If anyone knows who the guy is that was pitted next to us with the Q/SA (shown in pic) special thanks goes out to him and his lovely wife, they were especially nice. Thanks again from Mike, driver of the Team BackMotor Funny Car.

That would be the infamous Don "The Don" Himes.

that is THE DON and that car was sure flying this weekend and mike yes he is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and maybe we can see you run next time your car is really neat.

Ooops, in my original post, it should have read "Jim Woods" and not 'Jim Wahl' I guess I got my stock/super stock legends mixed up
