Scenario #1.
What if the weather is hot, muggy, and has a head wind. What happens if out of the 128 fastest qualifiers the last 5 are only .46 under, do they get to race or are the people wanting only the fast guys to qualify not let them race. Scenario #2 Great weather, cool and dry with a tailwind. What if the really fast guys are trying to protect their HP rating and realize that they have to go 1.35 under to make it into the fields top half, does this mean that the rest of the field is going to be packed in at 1.1 under fighting for those last spots. Scenario #3 What if this 128 fastest idea from NHRA is a setup. After they see all these fast guys it gives them a good idea of the HP factoring party to come. Scenario #4. The top 28 get torn down, I like that. Ron Ortiz U/SA not fast enough to comment.
