I dont know about indy but I live about 20 miles south east of West Salem IL ( the epicenter of the quake) and it had us wide awake. It woke me up and I said to my wife what the F was that if felt like the house just moved.

We live in Brownsburg and my wife called me just after it ended -shook the whole house.

I'm down @ SGMP when she called and after she settled down all I could think of Elvis- I'm all shook-up,
she didn't think that was funny. Just trying to calm her with some humor. Weather down here: Sunny and 80 all day.

Woke me up, just outside of Peoria, IL. Made a weird noise also. I never wake up at 4:40am but I bounced out of bed when it happened.

Hey all you out there in the Heartland, welcome to our world here on the left coast. Trust me after you have experianced a few hundred of them, they don't worry you anymore. I guess the old argument about you having tornados and having a warning and us having earthquakes and no warning is out the window now....
