Lightbulb Att: Ford Guys or Trans Builders

Guys ,I need some help on this one:

I am looking for a C4 to 2300 bellhousing. They were supposedly only used in the mid 70's in Pintos, Mustang II's and Capris, making them somewhat hard to come by. Any leads would be appreciated.

(my apologies to the management if this post is in the wrong place)

Mark, I would imagine that something like a late 70`s-early 80`s 4 cyl. Mustang or Fairmont should have a C4. I can`t imagine it should be too hard to find a bell. I`ll keep my eyes open up here. But after all this stickshift talk, ya sure you wanna change?

Mark,

Do a search on that site... you should come up with plenty. I posted your car there with a link from Racing Junk, and the site deleted it because of their rules on posting. That is one cool little car you have there! I have an 86 SVO that I am toying with as a drag car project. Turboford.org has answered many of my questions. Good Luck!

Thanks for trying anyway. Can you just mention it in a post, non- specifically?
I am bidding on one right now. If I don't get , I'll get back on that site.

Rory, No ,I don't want to change it at all. I'd rather sell it as is, and know is the time for someone to jump on it.

I have what i think is one ... it fits a C4 (don't tell anybody i have a slushbox kicking around) but i have no idea what block it's for. I don't have any 4 banger. Top two mounting holes are close together. I can get a casting number if you want.

Mark,

They killed the post because it wasn't "my" car. Become a member, and post away.
