Saw this car on Racing Junk and wondered about the potential of the combination for U/SA.
http://www.racingjunk.com/Stock-Supe...are-Buick.html Looks like the same cam, heads, pistons as the 165hp 4bbl engine. I'm guessing the 2bbl carb and maybe turbo size may limit the combo. Thoughts? |

Neil Smedley built that car and sold it to Vic Hobbs. Vic sold it to the present owner.

Neil PM'd me and we talked about. I was interested but the car has been sold. Probably be too expensive to build one from scratch.

Kelly, Actually turbo cars aren't necessarily more expensive to build.
There is a lot of trick stuff that you wouldn't need. You just have to be ready for some unexpected maintenance one in a while. There are lots of good non turbo V/SA combinations left if you decide to go that route. You have my number, I think.
