Default Richmond National Event

I know NHRA has 'postponed' the event. Anyone know if/when rescheduled? I am entered, but the entry doesn't show up, and I was thinking of withdrawing.

According to the lady who handles the entry's they are still trying to make the race happen. If you want to withdraw you will need to call her and ask. I did that last week.

626-250-2271 is the number. Sorry can't remember her name.

Quite frankly, the NHRA is running out of available weekends to stage a race at VMP. If it was a perfect world scheduling a national event at VMP the week after the LODRS event would be perfect but would require the Pros to tow to Madison from zMAX then back to Dinwiddie. Then go to Texas.

It would be nice if they were going to reschedule that they would announce a date sooner or later. I only say that because someone mentioned the weekend after the D1 race there would be a good fit, we'll I know Dave Ley and the East Coast Stk/SS group have their season finale at Atco that was already moved to that date because of the Maple Grove D1 rain out and the .90 series has their finale at Maple Grove that weekend and being October no way we could find make-up dates that late in the year. I also know being VMP largest event there is a PDRA race at Galot that weekend so Tommy, Judy and Tyler will be down there. Unfortunately, the logistics for the Pro teams don't really make sense either with what dates are left, you go into the Western Swing for the next 3 weeks, then a week off, no way your going from Pomona to VMP then back to Topeka or Topeka, Brainard, VMP, Indy and the only other option is Texas to Bristol to VMP to Vegas but, only a week in between VMP and Vegas. To me, I just don't see it happeneing but, I could be wrong.
