What are the odds of nhra looking for an exit strategy? How many think they are trying to figure a way to close up shop for good and maybe start over? With no stream of income it’s hard to make it. Will they survive? I hope so.

They still have revenue in the way of fans/ sportsman via Membership/ License fees etc. Income scaled way back as no income from events. Fingers crossed they don't tread water here

Are they eligible for the Payroll Protection Program? I know several small businesses that are receiving close to half a million with I'm sure a payroll less than theirs. Could they get Harvard money? That was nine million. I hope they do. BP

All of the tax-exempt 501(c) organizational types (e.g., 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(5), 501(c)(6), etc.) are eligible for the employee retention payroll tax credit if either (1) its operations were fully or partially suspended due to a governmental order that limited commerce, travel, or group meetings (for commercial, social, religious or other purposes) due to COVID-19, i.e., a shutdown order; or (2) its gross receipts declined by more than 50% when compared to the same quarter in a prior year. An organization is not eligible if it has received a Payroll Protection Program loan. |
