Another vote for Ingersoll's '72 Cutlass SS/O originally, factored over and over by NHRA. Made the cover of 5/27/77 National Dragster after being factored all the way to SS/M.

Got to agree with Yac. ---Buddy had that Olds rockin'..I remember the 1977 Fallnationals in Seattle when Buddy, John Lingenfelter (Corvette) and Don Bowles (351 Mustang) showed up and made us all wonder why we were there..Those were the days!!!

Thanks Daran,
As you know, we bought that car back from Dennis after he'd improved it a bunch, and it is even faster now. But after 245 passes on the old 307 we're finally going to freshen it. Funny thing is, it's the slower of the two '88 Cutlass' in the garage right now, but a more fun ride for sure. Never-the-less, I vote for Ingersoll's ride as he punished himself more than the car just to make it work. Jerry |
