Beaoootiful day here at London Dragway, located in the historic Daniel Boone National forest. Nice track, and plenty scenic! It had always sounded to me like it was in the middle of nowhere the way people talked, but in reality, the drive is almost all interstate, about an hour and a half south of Louisville. Once you get off the interstate, it's a few miles of four lane divided highway. Only the last four miles are "country".
Don't know the elevation here, but a negligible barometer tells me we've gitta be up there a ways! Accutime's Rusty Crawford actually flew in yesterday, landing on the track! 12 Noon advertised start, but they'd like to get everyone through tech and get the show started as quickly as possible due to a small chance of weather late afternoon or evening. ![]()

Threat of weather, we're going to roll both Sat and Sun races into today. The two races will run concurrently, like we did at Pittsburgh.

Congrats to Randall Campbell for qualifying # 1 in Stock with his '86 Chevy pickup.
He was 1.5166 under ! Job well done Randall. Randall's engine was built by Mike Taylor Machine in Somerset, KY. Truck is sharp ! Congrats to Mike Taylor as well for setting the D/PS record in his '79 Malibu. Well done Mike considering your car was on the heavy side. ![]()
