Default National Event Registration Guidelines Revised

I know it's a little late for some of you, but it looks like they are listening to your input:

3. If a Sportsman category reaches quota and spots become available prior to the deadline of 1 pm PST Monday the week of the event, entries will be accepted if the competitor has sufficient grade points at the time of entry.

a. Example – SS for a National Event reaches quota at Grade 4, when the event opens for a grade 3 and spots become available in SS, competitors with a grade 3 will be eligible for entry.

b. Example – SG for a National Event reaches quota at Grade 3, when the event opens for a grade 1 and spots are available in SG, all competitors with a grade point will be eligible for entry.

Thumbs up Re: National Event Registration Guidelines Revised

Rule never made sense to me and I'm glad to see it changed. We all pile on NHRA for stupid moves, so they deserve some credit for changing policy in this fashion.

Let's be thankful there isn't some sort of "you really didn't have the proper grade point fee" attached, lmao...

Looks like complaining has worked again, lol. It is nice to see that they are starting to use some common sense.

I would bet that it had more to do with Cash Flow than anything else. Mark Madisonj

Maybe it was the email I sent!
Josh: Reading the guide lines is like school yard mentality, other people make commitments that they can't follow up on, so other people get punished for that behavior.
